As many of you know, I’m a runner. I’m not always running but I always know that at some point I’ll start back up again. Even when I “start over” it doesn’t feel like it did when I started for the first time. I’m now in a season of life where I need to get my stuff together. I need to be focused and organized and disciplined. This means I need to run. It’s hard to explain how that thirty minutes or an hour a day can completely transform my life. Every single area of my life. My husband once said, “You’re a better you when you run.” He’s right and with the start of school and a multitude of other challenges, I need to be the best me I can be. So I will run. Every other day (at least) I will lace up the shoes and hit the pavement.
Since it’s been nearly a year since I was running 4 miles a day I starting back at the beginning. Tonight (and I mean LATE tonight_ I’ll be doing W2D1 of C25K. I’ve yet to find a program I like more.
